Rosh HaShanah services

The Jewish holiday of Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, begins on Wednesday evening, September 8.  The holiday is observed until sundown on September 9th or 10th, depending on your tradition.

WEDNESDAY, September 8:  After Rosh HaShanah dinner in Harden A we will depart for UNC-Chapel Hill  for Rosh HaShanah services.  Vans and carpools depart from Boney Fountain (outside Moseley) at 6:30 pm, returning at about 10:00 pm.

Students will have a choice of Reform or Conservative services.

THURSDAY, September 9: 

Reform Services and luncheon at UNC-Chapel Hill:   Meet van and carpools at Boney Fountain at 9:00 am, return to campus at about 1:45 pm

Conservative Services and luncheon at UNC-Chapel Hill: Meet van and carpools at Boney Fountain at 8:30 am, return to campus at about 1:45 pm

FRIDAY, September 10
