Elon’s Lambda Xi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi hosted its annual Meet and Greet for finance and accounting students in McKinnon Hall on September 13. More than 100 students met with representatives from 24 firms, including IBM Corp, Credit Suisse, Ernst & Young, LabCorp, and KPMG.
The annual Meet and Greet is an opportunity for accounting and finance students to network and interact with potential employers. “The firms were extremely impressed with the level of professionalism that Elon students demonstrated,” said Jennifer Kirts ’11, president of Beta Alpha Psi and a senior accounting major. “Several firms expressed interest in pursuing Elon students for internships and full-time positions.”
Beta Alpha Psi is the international honorary organization for financial professionals. Patty Cox is the chapter advisor.
