co-sponsored by Teaching and Learning Technologies and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning
Friday, October 29, 12:15 – 1:25 pm – Belk Pavilion Room 200
Social media like Facebook and Twitter are wildly popular on campus. What are the intersections between social media and higher education? Might social media help our students learn? Could social media help us teach and research? TLT and CATL are hosting a lunch discussion to talk about social media, teaching and learning.
The purpose of this conversation is to brainstorm possibilities for innovative teaching and learning practices using social media. If you have a project underway, or if you’re just curious, please join the conversation by RSVP’ing to Barbara Guy by Monday, October 25. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP.
