Gary L. Clinton, former Citigroup Head of Global Relationship Banking in Asia, will give a talk on economic and currency issues associated with China on Monday, October 25, 10:50 am in LaRose Digital Theatre. His talk is open to all LSB students.
Gary Clinton retired as Asia Pacific Region Head for Citigroup’s Global Relationship Banking business in November 2007. Based in Hong Kong, he was responsible for Citigroup’s relationships with non-Asian based multinational corporations in the region. He led a region-wide organization of 200 Relationship Managers in 14 countries that were responsible for providing advisory services and custom tailored financial solutions for clients looking to grow in or enter Asian markets with a priority focus on China.
In Hong Kong, Gary was active with the American Chamber of Commerce, serving as its Chairman in 2007.
Since moving to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Gary has worked closely with the UNC’s MBA STAR Project Teams, MBA Executive Coaching and Global Business Projects. He is a member of the CIBER Advisory Board and the Governors Club Speakers Group, where he speaks on topics relating the US dollar’s role in a global economy.
