Has being on financial aid kept you from looking into study abroad?
The Gilman International Scholarship is for students just like you who might not otherwise participate due to financial constraints.
Aiming to expand the student populations who have been traditionally underrepresented in study abroad, the Gilman Scholarship offers over 2,300 scholarships of up to $5,000 each academic year.
Qualifications:
– Receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during term of study abroad
– Study abroad program lasting at least 4 weeks
– Studying in a non-traditional destination
– U.S. Citizen
-Undergraduate Student
