Congratulations to students accepted as part of Early Decision on Wednesday, December 1. When students in the Class of 2015 arrive at the university in August 2011 they’ll join the ranks of generations of alumni who have called Elon home.

April Post, a lecturer in Spanish, and David Neville, an assistant professor of German, led a round table discussion on the use of webcams and video conferencing in second language acquisition at the recent American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages convention held Nov. 19-21 in Boston.

Amy Allocco Appointed to AAR International Connections Committee

Amy Allocco, an assistant professor of religious studies, has been appointed to serve on the International Connections Committee of the American Academy of Religion. Her appointment to this six-member committee, made by AAR President Ann Taves of the University of California Santa Barbara, will be for a four-year term.
