Nine Elon students selected for Taglit-Birthright 10-day trip to Israel

Nine Elon students have been selected to participate in a free 10-day trip to Israel this month, through Taglit-Birthright Israel.

The nine students were selected by Elon Hillel and Hillel International after completing a lengthy application and interview process. Twenty-five Elon students submitted applications for the trip. 

The nine students are:  Alexandra Solender, Carter Kozak, David Campbell, Jordan Neuhauser, Meghan Green, Millie Rosen, Sarah McAvoy, Sydney Mitgang, and Traci Weisberg.  They will travel to Israel with students from five other “Hillel Small and Mighty Campuses of Excellence”: Colgate, Hamilton, Franklin and Marshall, Union and Washington and Lee. 

Taglit-Birthright Israel provides the gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. The gift is funded through private philanthropists, the government of Israel, and local Jewish communities around the world.
