If you’re interested in learning the more advanced features of Pro Tools, attend the Level 2 workshop from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17 in McEwen 008.
The Pro Tools Level 2 workshop is a hands-on advanced workshop, in which users will explore more advanced topics in sound production while using the ProTools HD system, located in the School of Communications’ Audio Suites. In this workshop, a small group will work as a team while exploring the use of Pro Tools for music production and post audio production for film and video. Topics the will be covered include:

- Studio Equipment Overview
- Studio Signal Flow
- Recording Audio
- Advanced Features of Automation
- Plug-ins (Dynamic/Effects)
- Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro (OMF Trans-coding)
- ADR
- Exporting for CD and DVD
