Beta Alpha Psi Welcomes New Students in Initiation Ceremony

Thirty-one finance and accounting students were initiated into Beta Alpha Psi during a ceremony on Tuesday, February 8th in LaRose Digital Theatre. Beta Alpha Psi is a nonprofit international honorary and service organization for accounting and finance students at AACSB accredited universities.
Hal Walker to serve as external reviewer at Gardner-Webb

Hal Walker, department chair of Sport and Event Management, was recently invited to serve as a five-year external reviewer for Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C., for the Department of Physical Education, Wellness and Sport Studies.
New initiative: Diversity Infusion Program

The Multicultural Center and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning are creating the new Diversity Infusion Project. Consistent with the University’s unprecedented commitment to diversity and global engagement, the Diversity Infusion Project’s purpose is to develop and implement strategies to infuse the curriculum and pedagogies of the University with best practices related to diversity, broadly defined.
