Tickets are still available for Saturday and Sunday performances of "Rent," a production of Elon's Department of Performing Arts. Read this note for details on remaining tickets, and for links to great videos produced by School of Communications students on the production.

Department of Performing Arts presents Rent by Jonathan Larson – Feb. 10-13

Directed & Choreographed by Lynne Kurdziel Formato; Musical Direction by Nathaniel Fox Beversluis

McCrary Theatre, Thursday-Friday, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

VIVA LA VIE BOHEME! The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical is a provocative, rocking show inspired by Puccini’s classic that captures the heart of a generation as it celebrates art and art-makers, counter culture otherness, life, love and faith in a group of friends on the verge of the millennium circa 1996.

Admission: $12 or Elon ID. Tickets available January 20.

Please note that the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening performances of “RENT” are sold out. We still have some tickets available for the Saturday matinee and both shows on Sunday.

Tickets for available performances can be purchased/picked up at the Box Office in the Center for the Arts from 12:30-5:00 p.m. Monday- Friday, and one hour prior to each performance.

If you wish to try and attend one of the sold-out performances:
We will distribute numbered holding tickets at the box office on a first-come, first-served basis beginning one hour prior to curtain time. (we will NOT distribute any holding tickets except that one hour period – they are not available during the afternoon.)

Those with holding tickets are then asked to gather at the McCrary Theatre steps 15 minutes prior to curtain time. The House Manager will begin seating those with holding tickets (in numeric order) as we near the performance time. If you are not there when your number is called you get moved to the end of the line. It is our intention to fill all available seats for each performance.
