Who: Contest is open to ALL Elon students (including iMedia)
What: Contestants are asked to create a 60 second video about sustainability at Elon. Some potential ideas include: new composting initiatives at Octagon, how students are being sustainable on and off campus, LEED certification in the new Greek houses, Elon’s geothermal heating/cooling system in Colonnades, and more! If you have questions about your potential topic, please consult the Office of Sustainability (Alamance 111 or cbaumgarten@elon.edu). Submissions must be in a format viewable using Quicktime or Windows Media Player.
Judges will be evaluating each film using the criteria of content, creativity, and production quality. Winners will be announced at the Earth Day College Coffee on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011. Grand prize winner will receive $250, and the runner up will receive $100.
When: Submissions are due FRIDAY, APRIL 8 by 5:00pm to ALAMANCE 111 (Office of Sustainability)
