The Jewish holiday of Passover begins on Monday evening, April 18. Enjoy a fun and meaningful communal Seder with good friends and good food! Over 160 people attended last year’s seder. Non-Jewish faculty, staff, and students are always welcome.
Elon Hillel’s first night Seder will be on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, in McKinnon Hall.
The Seder will include the traditional retelling of the story of the Exodus from Egypt (the reading of the Haggadah) with lots of singing. We will serve a traditional Passover meal of matzoh ball soup, brisket, vegetables, and Passover desserts.
The cost is $10/person ($5/child) and reservations are required.
Tickets can be purchased between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm in Moseley on April 11, 12, 13, 14. Or, you can purchase tickets at the Truitt Center. Checks should be made out to Elon Hillel.
