Leary Davis, founding dean and professor of law emeritus at Elon Law, delivered a presentation titled, "Competence as Situationally Appropriate Conduct: An Overarching Concept for Lawyering, Leadership and Professionalism," at the 2011 Santa Clara Law Leadership Education Roundtable.
The Roundtable gathered together leading academics, law school administrators, professional development experts, and practicing lawyers to share their views on educating law students and lawyers for leadership roles.

In 2010, Elon Law Professor Faith Rivers James presented on Elon Law’s Leadership Program at the Santa Clara Law Leadership Roundtable.
