Associate professor of music Jon Metzger has been featured in an interview for Voice of America, the official broadcast institution of the United States federal government broadcast in 53 languages to an audience of 123 million people.
Metzger was interviewed by Cairo native Diaa Bekheet, now the editor of VOAnews.com. The 30-minute program also showcased several selections from Metzger’s recent recordings, including his original composition Zoroastrian Thunder (with the Elon University Percussion Ensemble), Ode to Life and Brown Skin Girl (from his Teach Me Tonight album), and After You’ve Gone (from his Times Fly album).
