Letitia Lee '99, an accomplished artist and muralist, appeared in the Sunday, April 24, episode of the hit ABC reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Lee designed and painted a mural for one of the bedrooms in the Virginia Beach, Va., home rebuilt during the show.

Tyronna Hooker G'09, an exceptional children’s teacher at Graham Middle School in Graham, N.C., and a 2009 graduate of Elon University's Master of Education program, has been named the 2011-12 North Carolina Teacher of the Year.

Thomas Erdmann, a professor of music, had his article, "Crossing Borders, An Interview With Frank London," published in the June 2011 issue of The International Trumpet Guild Journal.
