Creating engaging assignments and in-class activities

Tuesday July 19 10am-noon

Engaged learning environments provide opportunities for guided analysis, synthesis, and application of new ideas; and encourage motivation and intentionality on the part of the students. This session will provide strategies for designing assignments and in-class activities that are both engaging and promote learning of important conceptual material.
