Michelle Jones, assistant director of Career Services for Arts and Sciences, has received a $1,500 Professional Development Scholarship from the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers to use for professional development activities.
As part of her role with the university, Jones teaches Elon 101 for first-year students and Transition Strategies, a career development course. She served on both the 2009 and 2010 conference committees for SoACE.
“Serving on the last two conference committees, both Nashville and Dallas, has allowed me to get to work with some very inspirational SoACE members that have made me want to be a better career professional,” Jones said in the organization’s online newsletter.
