Eleanor Finger ’90 joins Virginia Tech as director of housing and residence life

Virginia Tech has named Eleanor Finger '90 its new director of housing and residence life. She previously served as dean of students and director of residence life at Washington State University.

Finger will be responsible for all matters relating to Virginia Tech’s residential system, which employs 150 full-time and 300 part-time staff and serves more than 9,000 students.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Elon, master’s degrees in counseling and human services and higher education administration from John Carroll University and the University of Arkansas, and a doctorate in higher education administration from Washington State.
