On Thursday, September 8, from 5 to 6 p.m., Elon University School of Law invites preceptors and other guests from the legal community to socialize with Elon Law students, faculty, and administration. The event will be held in the Cemala Commons on the second floor of the law school.
The Honorable L. Patrick Auld, federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, will be Elon’s special guest judge at the Thursday, September 8 reception.
At the reception, faculty members will present “Strongest Comprehensive Performance” awards to recognize outstanding achievement by a student for each of the school’s required courses of the 2010-2011 academic year.
During the academic year, Elon Law hosts monthly receptions with practicing attorneys and judges, creating an opportunity for students to interact with practicing lawyers in a casual setting. All law students and guests from the legal community are encouraged to attend.
Future Elon Law Receptions with the Legal Community for the fall are Thursday, October 6 and Thursday, November 10, both beginning at 5 pm at the law school.
