Lynne Kurdziel Formato choreographs production of ‘FAME’

Lynne Kurdziel Formato, associate professor of performing arts, choreographed a professional production of "FAME" for Artpark in Lewiston, N.Y. Directed by Randy Kramer, the show featured 11 current students or alumni of Elon's music theatre program, including Raphael Andrews, Maddie Franke, Clark Kinkade, Em Laudeman, Jared Loftin, Guy Mannick, Ben Redding, Sean Ronayne, Leela Rothenberg, Lucy Ann Werner and Tanner Wilson.
Janet MacFall presented a research paper at the the Ecological Society of America

Janet MacFall, in the Department of Environmental Studies, presented a research paper at the recent annual meeting of the Ecological Society of America. The paper, "Enzyme activity in hyporheic soils of Piedmont streams," was based on research done over the past two years and was co-authored with student Danielle Whitman.

Robert H. Moorman joins Elon University’s faculty this month as the Frank S. Holt, Jr., Professor of Business Leadership in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. Named in honor of the former president of Holt Manufacturing Co. in Burlington, N.C., the professorship honors the vision, leadership and compassion that were trademarks of Frank Holt’s career.
