Located in the “Horn of Africa,” Somalia is one of the poorest and most violent countries in the world. Two missed rainy seasons in 2011 has left this country in one of the worst droughts in sixty years. Somalia has one of the highest rates of malnutrition in the world with over half of its 9.3 million people afflicted.
