Entrepreneurship students participated Sept. 22 in The Indus Entrepreneurs of Carolina’s (TiE) networking event at the Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh, N.C.
The students networked with approximately 60 high-growth and technology entrepreneurs as part of their Entrepreneurship Skills course taught by Gary Palin, executive director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
A panel comprised of Harish Mamtani, Managing Director of Bluefish Capital, LLC; Palaniswamy Rajan, Chairman & CEO of Virima Technologies, Inc; and Manny Aparicio, Co-founder and CEO of Saffron Technology discussed ‘Weathering the Storm: Pulling Through the Economic Downturn”
TiE Carolinas is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to foster and support entrepreneurship in the Carolinas. This organization has three objectives:
– To network and to facilitate networking among members
– To foster entrepreneurship and to nurture entrepreneurs
– To help membership integrate with the mainstream community
