Gaming your class: Interactive Fiction, 2D and 3D Games as Instructional Platforms on October 13, 12:30-2:00pm in Belk Library 102
The session will explore the use of digital game-based learning (interactive fiction, 2D, and 3D) as an instructional platform and weigh the particular advantages and disadvantages of these technologies. The workshop will include demonstrations of freely available open source and freeware game creation technologies and, time permitting, there will be a period for hands-on experimentation.
