The Xi Omicron Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. initiated the Cinderella Project in Fall 2010 to collect prom dresses for young women in the Burlington Community who may not be able to afford the expenses of prom. We collected more than 150 prom dresses with the help of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and the Elon Community. After all the dresses were collected, we hosted a boutique day for the young … women that included educational workshops, prices & gifts, entertainment, and FREE prom dresses!
This year were hoping to continue the project and further enhance our efforts to make prom dreams come true! The “Tiara Couture” boutique is scheduled to open in spring 2012 just in time for the prom season.
We are extremely excited for another successful year and hope that you choose to take part in our achievements!
Prom Dresses Needed
We’re collecting gently used prom and cocktail dresses for the young women of the Burlington community to make their Prom Dreams a reality!
