Kathryn Huffman, a 2012 Middle Grades Education major with concentrations in Mathematics and Social Studies, was recognized as the Outstanding Mathematics Education Student for the Central Region of NC on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the annual conference of the NC Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
As a recipient, she received a plaque and cash award for her outstanding achievements in, contributions to, and participation in the Elon Mathematics Education Program.
