Associate Professor Michael Fels, chair of the Department of Art and Art History, presented a paper in October on the collaboration between art and poetry during the &Now Festival.
The &Now Festival is a biennial conference that explores intersections between creative and critical praxis, examines innovative and experimental acts of writing, and advances a serious inquiry into theories of language and consciousness.
The conference was at UC San Diego and Center For Research and Computing in the Arts, which is equally well known for its support of digital and inter-media arts.
