ART 380, Professional Practices in Art, is organizing and sponsoring a student-juried art show titled
Hands Off, which will run from November 21, 2011 to February 1, 2012 in the Isabella Canon Room in
the Center for the Arts. This exhibition will consider artwork, created for class or otherwise, by enrolled
undergraduate Elon students. Students of ALL MAJORS are encouraged to participate.
Submissions of artwork will be accepted during these times in the lobby of the Arts West building:
Wednesday, November 9, 12 – 2 pm
Thursday, November 10, 12 – 2 pm
Friday, November 11, 12 – 4 pm
All entrants will be required to pay a $5 fee for the submission of up to three pieces. There are
no size restrictions on work, however artists should be aware that work may be limited due to scale and/or
content. MONETARY PRIZES and certificates will be awarded to one juror’s choice and one viewer’s choice.
