School of Communications assistant professor Phillip Motley and associate professor Amanda Sturgill each presented work at the International Association for Research in Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (IARSLCE) annual conference Nov. 2-4 in Chicago.

Michael Rodriguez, assistant professor of marketing in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, has been named to the editorial review board of the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management.

Darris Means '05, associate director of the Elon Academy, received the Bobby E. Leach Award from the Southern Association for College Student Affairs, an honor that recognizes a student affairs or higher education professional who has significantly contributed to the development of multicultural relations on a college or university campus.

Elon University placed third this fall in a national contest that had teams of students competing in marketing case studies and hosting promotional events for NASCAR.
