Dr. Charity Johansson, professor of physical therapy education, and Dr. Susan Chinworth, associate professor of physical therapy education, signed copies of their new book, Mobility in Context: Principles of Patient Care Skills, at the Combined Sections Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association in Chicago February 8-11.
The textbook, which includes a DVD of patient care videos as well as online instructor materials, presents patient handling techniques and mobility skills within the contexts of evidence-based practice and patient progression. Mobility in Context is published by F.A. Davis Company and is designed for use in physical therapy and physical therapist assistant educational programs.
