Alexa Milan '10 won five awards, including three first-place finishes, from the North Carolina Press Association for her work with the Sanford Herald. Samiha Khanna '03 took home a second place honor from the NCPA for a story she wrote with three others for the Indy.

Renowned economist David Blanchflower P’13 presented “Can Europe Cut Its Way to Growth? The Austerity Question” to a packed LaRose Digital Theatre on February 29.

Professor of Management Matthew Valle in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business has been selected to receive the Best Reviewer Award for 2011 from the journal Career Development International (CDI).

Katy Rouse, assistant professor of economics in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, recently published a paper titled, "The Impact of High School Leadership on Subsequent Educational Attainment."

An article authored by Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship Barth Strempek was recently published in Advances in Financial Education.
