Elon Law Professor David Levine recently presented scholarship that examines the intersection of intellectual property law, technology and the global economy at Suffolk University and Campbell University law schools.
On February 23, Levine spoke at the 2012 Symposium of the Suffolk University Transnational Law Review, titled, “Understanding the Global Impact of the Anti-Counterfeit Trade Agreement (ACTA).”
The symposium explored changes that could be coming to global intellectual property law enforcement and Internet regulation, focusing on the Anti-Counterfeit Trade Agreement (ACTA), the Stop Internet Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect IP Act (PIPA).
Levine presented at the symposium on a panel with Margot E. Kaminski, Executive Director of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School, Kimberlee Weatherall, of the University of Sydney Law School, and Andrew Rens of Duke Law School.
On March 16, Levine presented at a symposium of the Campbell Law Review, titled, “The New Global Convergence: Intellectual Property, Increasing Prosperity, and Economic Networks in the Twenty-First Century.”
