On Friday, March 30, Chris Leupold, associate professor of Psychology and Faculty Leadership Fellow, gave a talk on careers in organizational consulting to the doctoral students in the applied social psychology program at the University of Windsor, Canada.
Leupold shared his own professional management consulting experience, and discussed the critical steps and success factors in developing and maintaining client relationships, both internally and externally. During his visit, he also spent time working with University of Windsor professor Dr. Catherine Kwantes and her doctoral candidate Iris Lin, with whom he his collaborating on a multi-national project that examines the conceptualization of trust across different cultures. To date, 15 nations are participating in the data collection; data collection is expected to continue through late fall 2012.
