Presented by Team Hero, Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran Jim Stanek and his wife, Lindsey, will speak Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in Lindner 208.
Come by to hear about Jim’s time in the military, as well as his experience with post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury. Lindsey Stanek will speak about her experience as an Army wife and partner of a veteran with PTSD and TBI. As an added bonus, you can meet Sarge, Jim’s service dog, who helps him navigate daily life and manage panic and anxiety attacks.
Come by early at 6 p.m. in the Lindner parking lot to visit with representatives from the Greensboro Veterans Center. Tour the mobile vet center and learn more about the services available for our veterans and their families.
