The trial, taking place at the federal courthouse in Greensboro, North Carolina, began on April 23.
The jury in the trial will decide whether to convict Edwards, the former U.S. Senator, presidential candidate and Democratic nominee for Vice President, on six felony charges of violating federal campaign contribution laws to cover up an extramarital affair. Edwards faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine if convicted.
