The next meeting of Elon University's Toastmasters Club is Wednesday, Aug. 8.
Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. North Carolina has over 183 active clubs; membership nationally is 270,000 strong. By attending learn-by-doing meetings, members hone their speaking and leadership skills at their own pace in a no-pressure atmosphere.
The club meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Meetings are held in the Isabella Cannon Room in the Center for the Arts from 12:15-1:15 pm.
