Jessica Gisclair, department chair and associate professor in the School of Communications, was a lead discussant on “Improving International Understanding through Transnational Benchmarking” at the Oxford Round Table at Harris Manchester College, Oxford, England, July 29 – Aug. 2.
Gisclair debated topics on women in university, with particular attention to rights of women internationally in higher education. The Round Table affords an opportunity to discuss important policy questions over a “think-tank” atmosphere among international participants and to promote education, art, science, religion and charity by means of academic conferences and publication of scholarly papers.
