Lauren Kearns Nominated for Dance Education Award

Lauren Kearns, Associate Professor of Dance and Head of the Dance Program, has been nominated for the First Annual Martha Hill Student’s Choice Dance Educator Award. Martha Hill was a former dancer with the Martha Graham Company as well as a legendary dance educator and visionary. Hill was the first director of dance at The Julliard School. Sarah Beacham, a junior dance major and member of the Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows nominated Professor Kearns.
