Professor Cynthia "Cindy" Fair in the Department of Human Service Studies and Jamie Albright '13 presented Oct. 30 in San Francisco at the annual conference of the American Public Health Association.
Their two presentations were titled “‘Someone needs to carry on the legacy of my family’: Perceptions of Childbearing and Parenting among Young Adults with Perinatally-Acquired HIV” and “’I’ve always wanted a child’: Fertility Desires/Intentions and Knowledge of Mother-to-Child-Transmission among Individuals with Perinatally-Acquired HIV.”
Albright is a Lumen Scholar and Fair is her Lumen Prize mentor. Both have been active together in research and presentations around the country.
