Join us to celebrate Diwali, which is the Festival of Lights commemorating the triumph of the Good over the Evil and Light over Darkness.
The Hindu Festival of Lights, which symbolizes the human urge to move toward the light, includes gift exchanges, fireworks and festive meals.
- There will be student and faculty speakers that will talk about the culture, traditions, and customs of Hinduism, Diwali, and their homes.
- There will be catered and home made FOOD!!!
- There will be Henna Tattoos and Bindi.
- There will be a table with Helping Hands products (purses, wallets, scarves, etc all profits go directly to the Indian women who made the products)
