Bryson Vogeltanz '02 was featured on CNN earlier this month for his work with a Christian nonprofit that works to put an end to slavery.
He and his wife, Emily, also a 2002 alum, work for Freedom Campaign/Do Something Now, the social justice arm of Passion Conferences. Passion holds a large annual event, usually near its Atlanta, Ga., headquarters, to bring together and empower several thousand college students and young adults to be forces for good in the world.
They were featured in the fall installment of The Magazine of Elon.
According to the CNN story, more than 60,000 young Christians representing 56 countries and 2,300 universities gathered at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta during this year’s event.
