The Dance Program’s Winter Term guest artist is Kit McDaniel of the Keigwin + Company (based in NYC). Kit is setting “Runaway” on fourteen of our dance and performing arts majors that will be performed in our spring dance concert (May 9-11). “Runaway” is an electric and dynamic dance piece that investigates issues of gender and identity. The Campus Community is invited to an open showing of the piece on Thursday, January 24 at 8:30 pm in Dance Studio B, CFA 112. Following the performance, Kit will lead a discussion about the piece and the gender and identity themes present in the dance.
