Research conducted by Thomas Tiemann, Jefferson Pilot Professor of Economics, and Steve DeLoach, professor of economics, was featured this week in a Chicago Tribune article.
“Commuting trends in the 21st century” reported on a study the professors conducted examining weekday commuting decisions of full-time American workers between 2003 and 2009. Their research paper, “Not driving alone? American commuting in the twenty-first century,” was published in the May 2012 issue of the journal Transportation.
