Dan Layman '12, an international studies major with minors in Middle Eastern studies and German studies, has published an analysis of the Syrian radical Islamist group known as Jabhat al-Nusra.
Layman writes: “By supporting, even if only financially, certain moderate units of the Free Syrian Army, the U.S. can help stem the expansion of Jabhat’s armed wing.”
