From the Wilson Times (3/26/13): Lawmakers who want to strengthen open meetings and records laws and punish officials who violate them face formidable opposition from state employees groups.

Elon Law students Kelsey Roth, Joe Doren, Janison Dillon and Kristen Seum won the team competition in the race. Alex Hazel L’09 won the women’s category and Andy Rinehart won the men’s category.

Elon Law alumni Haynes Dallas L’09, Michael Eldredge L’10 and Ryan Stewart L’09, with guest Brandon Ellisen, won the Business Law Association's third inaugural golf tournament on March 2. 

Recipients must reside in rural counties that are tobacco-dependent or economically distressed.
