Elon Hillel is hosting an Israeli dinner in celebration of Israel Independence Day, with guest speaker, Liat Srur, NC Hillel’s Israel Fellow.
Celebrate Israel Independence Day, Yom Ha’atzmut, with a delicious Israeli dinner of felafel, hummus, salads and Middle Eastern desserts on April 16, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Sklut Hillel Center.
Our dinner guest, Liat Srur, grew up on a kibbutz, served in the army and studied political science and Latin American studies. She is passionate about the dolphin reef in Eilat, Israel where she’s volunteered for seven years, and Latin music, especially tango and flamenco.
