Enough’: Gendered Gilded Age and Progressive Era Collecting Narratives and the Perpetuation of Difference”, argues that there are more differences than similarities among women art collectors of this period than both past and current scholarship allow. Capel will be presenting another version of this work at SURF on April 23 and a much longer version at the Baker Undergraduate Art History Symposium on April 27.
