A dozen students spent the day sharing their scholarship with the Elon community.
Twelve School of Communications students were among the many student researchers who presented their work at Elon University’s selective Student Undergraduate Research Forum April 23.
Faculty mentors for this year’s School of Communications researchers included Janna Anderson, Lucinda Austin, David Copeland, Michael Frontani, Byung Lee, Harlen Makemson, Glenn Scott, Nicole Triche and Tony Weaver.

Celebrating Faculty Scholarship
Additionally, three Communications faculty members shared their research as part of the Faculty and Student Scholarship Poster Session April 23. Associate professor Amanda Sturgill and assistant professor Phillip Motley showcased their research titled “Preparation for International Service-Learning: Evaluating the Pre-Trip Cultural Training,” and assistant professor Youssef Osman screened his short fiction film “No Comment.”
