On Thursday, May 2, the Elon African Society will be hosting African Mingle from 5-7 p.m. in the ampitheater in the Academic Village. It will be an informal event in which students, faculty and staff who are interested in Africa and African topics will get a chance to share some food and conversation.

Food will be provided, and Dr. Angela Owusu-Ansah from Ghana, Maria Restuccio who studied abroad in Senegal, and Kanree Wright from Liberia will share their experiences with the entire group and the rest of the time will be left for mingling.

If you are a student, staff or faculty member who has travelled abroad to Africa, hope to go some day, are an African student/staff/faculty or simply interested, we would love to have you come and share your experiences and learn from those of others!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at elonafricansociety@gmail.edu
