This lunchtime workshop will examine some models for high-quality class participation and help you consider how to apply ideas to your own teaching context.
Tuesday, July 16
12-1:30 p.m., Belk Pavilion Room 208
What does high-quality class participation look like in your classroom, lab, studio, or off-campus site? Are you conveying your expectations to students in a way that’s effective (and motivating)? How do you evaluate students’ participation? In this workshop, we’ll look at some models and consider how to apply ideas to our own particular teaching context.
To sign up for the workshop and to indicate your lunch preference, please complete this online form by July 9: http://tinyurl.com/catlgoodclasspart.
