The new Google-based map includes rich features in a mobile-friendly format
The Office of University Communications has launched a new interactive campus map that provides a search function, locations of all personnel and departments, photos and details about each building and customized views to highlight academic facilities, athletics facilities, residence halls and dining facilities, administrative buildings and campus parking lots. Users can use the Google map tool to zoom into portions of campus for detailed views.
The map also offers access to 14 full panorama views of various parts of the campus.
The new map is designed to optimize viewing on desktop computers, tablets and smart phones.
The map was created over the past several months by Communications staff members John David Parsons, Rebecca Bass, Aimee Kensky, Dan Anderson, Kim Walker, Eric Townsend, Steve Hofbauer and Katie DeGraff, with assistance from student worker Taylor Sharp.
